FARES
All our prices are quoted in pounds Sterling and are exclusive of
VAT, which will be charged for all services where applicable at the
prevailing rate. Parking charges and tolls are not included and will
be charged at cost.
All hires are calculated as starting and finishing at Marble Arch,
except those hires to and from various airports or those hires that
are subject to a fixed charge.
All hires involving a drop off and a subsequent pick up will be
priced as one continuous hire unless the interval between journeys
is 4 or more hours stated at the time the booking is made.
Chauffeur's overnight subsistence allowance by arrangement. Also for
each period of 9 hours hire, a meal allowance of £12 will be added.
Gratuities are at the client's discretion.
A surcharge of 25% will be made for services provided (excluding
extras) when a journey starts or finishes during a UK bank holiday.
A 100% surcharge is applicable for journeys on Christmas Day, Boxing
Day and also from 18:00 New Years eve until 10:00 New Years day,
thereafter the 25% standard surcharge will apply.
All cars are equipped with mobile telephones. any usage is charged
at £1 per minute inland and £3 per minute overseas.
London rates apply where the whole journey is within the M25, if any
part of the journey is outside the M25 country rates will apply to
the entire journey.
For both London and country rates, the minimum hire is 2 hours.
AIRPORTS
Airport transfer tariffs are based on one way, direct, non-stop
transfers to or from central London, or vice-versa. We allow a
waiting time of 30 minutes for domestic landings, and 45 minutes for
international landings free of charge. Any excess waiting time is
charged at £25 per hour, for e-class Mercedes and £30 for s-class
Mercedes and People Carriers Any excess time or mileage over and
above the stated allowances will be charged at either the standard
hourly rates, or the additional mileage rate.
CANCELLATIONS FEE
Unfortunately, we have found it necessary to charge cancellation
fees. In doing this, we have tried to be as fair as possible both to
you and us as a company. Most bookings are made several days, even
weeks in advance. The chances of us being able to take another
booking once you have cancelled yours at short notice are minimal.
These charges are essential as once we confirm bookings, we
guarantee the driver and vehicle will be available for your
exclusive use. We don’t double book, so this means refusing all
other bookings for that same period. If you need to cancel your
booking, you should advise us by email or fax. Cancellations must be
received no later than 3 hours before the commencement of the hire
for journeys outside the M25 or 2 hours for those inside the M25.
The company reserves the right to invoice the client with a charge
(no less than a minimum charge) unless the above conditions are met.
For cancellation of pick-ups between the hours of 02:00 and 08:00,
8hrs notice must be given.
Our cancellation charges are shown below:
More than 7 days notice of cancellation prior to departure – all
monies fully refundable. Less than 7 days notice of cancellation,
but more than 3 days prior to departure - 50% of full booking fee is
refundable Less than 3 days notice of cancellation prior to
departure - 0% of full booking fee is refundable
PAYMENTS
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Monthly account
facilities are available on request. A 5% admin fee is applicable to
all credit and debit card transactions.
ACCOUNTS
Account facilities are available to EU based companies supported by
satisfactory bank references. Accounts automatically receive 30 days
credit, unless stated otherwise.
All invoices are to be paid within 14 days from date of invoice.
This is subject to agreement when opening an account.
Invoices are issued in UK Sterling. Cheque payments must be drawn
from a UK domiciled bank, alternatively credit cards, or electronic
transfers to our bank account can be used to settle invoices. All
invoices are issued in GB Pound Sterling and must be settled in GB
Pound Sterling unless agreed otherwise. A late payment will be
deemed as payment not received by 5pm on the 30th day after the date
of invoice.
All late payment of invoices will attract monthly interest charges
of up to 5% above base rate, calculated on a daily basis. Signature
Chauffeurs reserves the right to terminate account facilities at any
time and for whatever reason.
All prices are to be set and agreed upon subject to the volume of
work to be undertaken. All account holders will be notified in
writing of any variations of prices due to circumstances beyond our
control.
International executive reserves the right to cancel the account at
any time and for any reason.
Please note: account holders' conditions should be read in
conjunction with our general terms and conditions stated above.
BOOKING A VEHICLE
You are welcome to complete our online quotation form, or send us an
email. Indeed, if you require a quote urgently, then please do give
us a call (or text). Once you have received a quotation and are
happy to proceed, and if the booking date is over 7 days prior to
departure, a deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking. If
the booking date is less than 7 days prior to departure, the amount
must be paid in full. If you book more than 7 days in advance of
your departure, 50% deposit will be taken at that time and the
remainder will become due on the 7th day prior to departure. The
deposit, balance or full amount can be made by credit/debit/charge
card, cheque (providing there is enough time for your cheque to
clear), cash (paid in full 7 days in advance) or direct transfer to
our bank. Please let us know which method you would like to use.
CHANGES TO THE HIRE
The chauffeur will travel by the most appropriate route as he/she
sees fit. If the client wishes us to take an alternate route, we
will do this providing the changes (IN OUR OPINION) are minimal. If
the change or changes alter the structure of the hire then charges
are made at the applicable rate to that hire.
OUR RESPONSIBILITIES TO YOU
We shall supply all the inclusions of the hire as specified in the
confirmation of booking. We accept responsibility for acts/omissions
of our employees.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR:
Bodily injury or death or sickness to the signatory of the contract
or any other person except where such death or injury is caused
directly by a staff member of Private Car Services. Delays caused by
inclement weather conditions; amenities supplied by third parties
such as ferry companies, hotels or any other party contracted on
your behalf; any theft or damage to property of the passengers; any
delays caused by strike action, acts of God, nature or war.
CARRIAGE OF ANIMALS
No pets shall be carried without the written permission of the
company. Guide dogs are fully permitted.
MUSIC
No musical instruments or radios shall be played without the express
agreement between the chauffeur and the signatory of the contract.
SMOKING
The Company maintains a non-smoking policy in all its vehicles. Any
person found to be smoking on the vehicle will be requested to
cease.
ALCOHOL
Under no circumstances shall the company permit the consumption of
alcohol within the confines of the interior of the vehicle.
DRUGS
It is strictly forbidden for any person to carry or consume drugs of
any description except where such drugs are prescribed by a U.K.
registered doctor.
PUNCTUALITY
It is your responsibility to ensure that you return to the vehicle
in order to reach your destination in time. Private Car Services
takes no responsibility for lateness caused by passengers themselves
being late.
DAMAGE
Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior
and/or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them and will be billed
accordingly for any repair or valet required in order to reinstate
the vehicle to working order.
DISORDERLY BEHAVIOUR
The company reserves the right to refuse travel to anyone that it
deems to be a nuisance or danger to its employees or passengers. In
extreme cases of nuisance the company may request the Police to
eject the offenders. No compensation or refund shall be made to
anyone requested to leave the vehicle under such circumstances.
ANY INFRINGEMENT OF THESE CONDITIONS COULD RENDER YOUR HIRE WITH
PRIVATE CAR SERVICES TO BE TERMINATED WITHOUT REFUND OR COMPENSATION
GENERAL LUGGAGE
One suitcase plus one small piece of hand baggage per person is
allowed. It is your responsibility to ensure your luggage is
correctly loaded and unloaded at each destination.
USE OF VEHICLES
Whilst every effort shall be made to supply a Private Car Services
vehicle of luxury or super-luxury quality (as requested), sometimes
such vehicles become unavoidably busy. In such cases we shall supply
the highest standard of vehicle available to us at that time. This
form of hire shall be known as sub-hire.
CHANGES TO ITINERARY
From time to time Private Car Services may have to change certain
aspects of the given itinerary. Wherever possible such changes shall
be notified to you in advance. |
